Emma's Rose Senior Apartments 

SOCAYR, Inc. developed a 41-unit affordable senior housing community in Cadiz, Kentucky, to meet a critical need for quality housing for older adults in the region. With 31 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom apartments, the project serves residents earning below 60% of the area median income, ensuring housing remains accessible and affordable.

At the time of development, Trigg County lacked modern, senior housing that balanced affordability with independent living amenities. Emma's Rose Senior Apartments filled this gap with features such as in-unit appliances, elevator access, communal gathering spaces, and high-speed internet, supporting a dignified and connected lifestyle for seniors. 

The development was led by a seasoned team with a strong record across Kentucky. SOCAYR utilized Low Income Housing Tac Credits (LIHTC) and other public funding sources to keep rents affordable for residents.

With deep roots in Western Kentucky and a history of revitalizing senior communities like Jackson House and W.B. Sanders in Paducah, SOCAYR and Beacon were proud to bring this much-needed resource to Cadiz, completed and fully leased by 2021.
