Adairville Arms Development

Adairville Arms & Staggers Manor

Adairville Arms and Staggers Manor are two fully rehabilitated affordable housing communities located in Adairville, Kentucky. Completed in 2019 through a partnership between SOCAYR, Inc. and Beacon the combined 50-unit project preserves and modernizes vital housing options for both elderly residents and families in Logan County.

Staggers Manor, originally built in 1971, includes 20 one-bedroom units for seniors aged 62 and older, while Adairville Arms, constructed in 1970, offers 30 units with mixed floor plans for families. Both communities are fully supported by Section 8 project-based rental assistance and consistently maintain high occupancy rates.

The renovation founded by Tax-Exempt Bonds, 4% LIHTCs, and HOME funds, focused on both structural improvements and resident comfort. Interior upgrades included new cabinetry, flooring, paint, lighting, over-the-range microwaves, and updated plumbing fixtures. Adairville Arms received additional upgrades such as new HVAC units, new windows, dishwashers, and a newly built playground. Exterior work at both sites included new storm doors, accessible sidewalk and parking modifications, gutter and downspout replacement, and parking lot repairs and striping.

These enhancements ensure long-term livability, energy efficiency, and accessibility, while preserving affordable housing for seniors and families in the region. Adairville Arms and Staggers Manor stand as a testament to SOCAYR’s commitment to sustaining vibrant, well-maintained communities across Kentucky.
